You can pay with iDeal, Visa or MasterCard.
How can I cancel?
Cancellation within 14 days: You can cancel your Try & Buy subscription free of charge within 14 days of receiving your product. Contact our customer service to cancel your subscription and register your return.
You will then receive instructions via email to return your product free of charge via a delivery point. When we have received the product back, you will receive a confirmation by email and we will arrange the refund.
Please note: you may not have used the product other than to test the operation of the product. If you have used the product otherwise, Ruby Essentials may charge 1 month.
Please note: your product must be received at least 2 working days before the start of a new month, otherwise we cannot process the termination of the agreement in time. , and we are forced to charge an extra month
Can I buy the Pet Genie before my Try & Buy subscription expires?
Rest assured, you can buy your Pet Genie at any time. How much you pay for it depends on the market value of the device at the time you decide to buy. This value is an approximation of the device's retail value on the open market, which decreases as the device ages.
You have until the 4th month to adopt your Pet Genie. After the 4th month, your Try & Buy subscription will automatically stop and the Pet Genie will also be 100% yours!
Can I purchase my Pet Genie before my Try & Buy subscription ends?
You can purchase the Pet Genie at any time during the term of your subscription, for the fair market price which you can find in My Account.
Fair market value is an approximation of the MSRP minus your monthly payments.
What happens when the Try & Buy subscription expires after 4 months?
Your Try & Buy subscription has a maximum duration of 4 months. You can use the Pet Genie within this term. However, the Pet Genie remains the property of Ruby Essentials unless you decide to purchase it. This can be done at any time within 4 months by contacting customer service. From month 4 onwards the product is fully paid off and it is also 100% your property.
If you choose not to purchase the device during the term of your subscription, it remains the property of Ruby Essentials and you can return it free of charge. You must contact customer service for this.
What if the device breaks down during the term of my Try & Buy subscription?
Do not worry. If a defect occurs during the subscription period due to manufacturing and material defects, we will replace the device free of charge.
If your device is lost, stolen, or damaged, Ruby Essentials may charge you the full retail price, minus any subscription fees you have already paid. Please note that if you purchase the Pet Genie, the normal 1-year manufacturer's warranty has already started when you start the Pet Genie subscription.
What happens if I return the device?
At Ruby Essentials, refurbishment is one of the ways we help our planet and increase the lifespan of our products and solutions. Here's how it happens.
Returned products are carefully checked to determine if they are eligible for refurbishment or if they need to be disassembled for spare parts. The product selected for refurbishment is cleaned to ensure the accuracy of the test. Each product is tested to ensure it is fully operational and meets Ruby Essentials quality standards.
Every refurbished product is thoroughly cleaned again to look as good as new. The product will be repackaged in the original packaging if usable. If not, a recycled cardboard box is used. When the refurbished product meets the Ruby Essentials quality, safety and hygiene standards, it is certified with a one-year warranty.
