How do I clean the Cat Genie?

How much cat litter can fit in the Cat Genie?
The Cat Genie silicone mat is marked MAX. You can fill the Cat Genie with cat litter up to this mark.
What advantages does the app have?
The three most important advantages at a glance:

- Receive a notification via the app when the Cat Genie's bin is full, so you can empty it in time.
- Use the individual sleep mode timer to automatically turn off the device at a specific time and ensure a good night's sleep.
For which smartphones is the app available?
You can easily download the app via the App Store or Google Play Store for your smartphone or tablet. No smartphone is excluded.
What does it mean if a STOP sign appears on the Cat Genie screen and the Cat Genie is not running?
In this case, we recommend that you turn off the Cat Genie and unplug it from the wall socket. Once the device is completely turned off, wait a few seconds and then turn the device back on.
The STOP sign should then disappear and the Cat Genie should work without any problems.
What is the button under the screen for?
The button below the screen is used to pause the device. If you press the button once, the cat robot will stop and the STOP sign will appear. If you then press the black button again, the Cat Genie will restart.
What is the WLAN symbol for?
This feature is not yet integrated into Cat Genie. We're working on making the feature possible soon.
What if the drum stops spinning?
We recommend that you check the cleaning system. You can remove the cover of the Cat Genie and check whether the parts are properly assembled.
What if the scale shows a weight that is too low/too high?
If the Cat Genie displays an incorrect weight, you can perform the following steps:
1. At the bottom of the Cat Genie screen is a button. Press the button 8 times until the number 50 appears on the screen.
2. Then place a 20kg weight or an object equivalent to this weight into the Cat Genie.
3. Press the button again.
4. The number 70 should appear on the display.
5. Press the button again.
6. The display should now show a weight of approximately 20 kg.
7. Wait about 10 seconds until the green light starts flashing.
8. Remove the 20kg weight from the Cat Genie.
9. The system is ready for use again.
